About The Founder
A Nashville native, Dr. Cook is happy to establish her consulting practice in her hometown after living and working around the world. In her 20+ year career in the field of college admissions counseling she has advised students attending universities at the highest levels, in a variety of programs, across the globe, and with a variety of goals.
A former admissions officer at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Cook combines her extensive knowledge of college admissions with her advanced study of counseling psychology to create successful, purposeful plans with young adults and their families as they look to the future.
Dr. Cook holds a Ph. D. from the University of Georgia, an M.A. and M.Ed. from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University. She has active certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor and TN School Counselor. Her most recent position was as Director of High School Counseling and University Admissions at Seoul Foreign School. She is currently a Professional Member of IECA.
Dr. Cook loves to read, travel, and have coffee with friends, and she lives in Brentwood with her family.
